NitroEurope - or NEU for short - is a project for integrated European research into the nitrogen cycle. NitroEurope is part of the EU's Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, and will run for 5 years from February 2006 until 2011.

The NEU 3rd Annual Meeting and Open Science Conference will take place at Het Pand, Ghent, Belgium.
The full programme is divided into two parts, the first part on Monday and Tuesday, 18-19th February is the 3rd NEU Annual Meeting, designated for NitroEurope IP project meetings and open to project participants only; the second part on Wednesday and Thursday, 20th-21st February is the Open Science Conference, consists of keynote presenations, discussions and workshops on the theme "Reactive Nitrogen and the European Greenhouse Gas Balance".
