Changes in marine and terrestrial productivity under climate change - impact and feedback. Denmark. 12-13 May 2009
The workshop raise the questions: How will the expected climate changes affect marine and terrestrial productivity, and which feedback mechanisms exist from ecosystem changes to climate? Invited speakers and participants will discuss possible management and mitigation options, with focus on productivity, stability and resilience of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
This workshop is part of the DTU Climate Change Technologies Programme. DTU has arranged a series of workshops and conferences on climate change technology focusing on assessment of and adaptation to climate changes as well as on mitigation of green house gasses (GHG). Each workshop targets a specific technology problem area, and recommendations from these workshops will be presented at a high-level conference in September 2009, where industrial, governmental and scientific perspectives on climate change issues will be addressed.
